The White Chapel: Solid Cedar, Floor to Ceiling

You Smell the Cedar Before You See the Chandeliers

The White Chapel at Silver Sycamore is built entirely from cedar. Walls, beams, ceiling. You feel it the second you step inside. The scent settles the room before the music starts.

The White Chapel exterior

The Space

Crystal chandeliers overhead. Natural light through cathedral windows. Mahogany chiavari chairs lining the aisle. No support columns or obstructing posts anywhere in the sightline. Every seat in the house sees the ceremony. Seats two hundred.

How Ceremonies Work Here

Double mahogany doors at the back. A raised platform at the front. Built-in audio with speakers below and space for live musicians on the balcony above. Couples walk in, exchange vows, walk out. The flow is natural because the room was designed for exactly this.

Non-Denominational by Design

The chapel is built for the moment, not a specific tradition. No permanent religious fixtures. Couples of every background and belief system have been married here. The architecture carries the weight. The ceremony is yours to fill.

What You Add (and What You Don't)

Some couples add a floral arch behind the altar. Others let the cedar and the chandeliers do the work. The space reads as complete without a single addition, which means every decorative choice is additive, not corrective. You're not covering up a blank canvas. You're accenting a room that already has character.

The Photographs

Window light pours in from one side, chandelier warmth fills the other. The cedar walls hold a warm tone in every direction. The mahogany doors are a favorite for bridal portraits. The balcony gives an overhead angle most chapels can't offer.

Every Guest, Every Season

Texas heat doesn't reach the ceremony. The chapel is fully climate-controlled. Wheelchair-accessible entrance and seating throughout. Every guest is comfortable, rain or shine, July or January.
