About Silver Sycamore
Built Over Time
Six acres of buildings, stories, and hospitality added one thoughtful piece at a time. Tea room, cafe, chapel, reception hall, bed and breakfast, western town. The property grew because people kept finding reasons to stay longer.
It Started with a Tea Room
Silver Sycamore opened as a tea room more than 20 years ago. Then a community cafe. Then a full restaurant. Then someone said "what if we built a reception hall?" So they did. Then a chapel. Solid cedar, crystal chandeliers, mahogany doors. Then a bed and breakfast with Tiny Texas Cottages built from reclaimed 1900s materials. Then an entire western town.
Every building was built by hand on the same six acres in the Golden Acres community of Pasadena, about 20 minutes from downtown Houston. No investors, no franchise. Just one property, growing year after year.

Six Acres, One Address
Sycamoreville is a life-size western town: saloon, hotel, city hall, personalized town sign, and a main street where events come to life. The White Chapel is solid cedar with crystal chandeliers. The Reception Hall seats 230 under dimmable lighting. Pine Street Cafe serves brunch six days a week. The B&B sleeps guests in tiny cottages and Sycamoreville rooms, each with its own name and story. All of it is connected, walkable, and memorable.
The People Behind It
Silver Sycamore still feels personal because it is. The same hands-on mindset runs through the property, from the restaurant kitchen to the event team to the overnight stays. You can feel it in the way details are handled: practical, warm, and direct.
No corporate handoff. No scripted hospitality. Just people who know the property well enough to tell you what works, what doesn't, and how to make the day feel right.
